INTRODUCTION WHAT DO

Knowing more to the Red Cross
The Red Cross is well known for his role in disasters and armed conflicts. But you are not yet well known in all its features such as the International Humanitarian Law. In many cases their participation has particular ways, guided by a humanitarian doctrine focused on seven key principles are: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality.
In many countries the work of the special Red Cross National Societies is confused with other organizations, his work as auxiliary to public authorities is clear to fulfill its humanitarian mission.
The community must know what is the role of the Red Cross in its international and national levels. As to contribute to the accomplishment of their humanitarian mission, at any point where one is found, the call for collaboration within the Movement is universal without any discrimination, it is only necessary goodwill and action based on fundamental principles.

The presentation shown below is only an introduction to the knowledge of the International Humanitarian world's largest, present in almost all countries, its mission and ideal shared with hundreds of millions of people since its founding.
This presentation is part of the introductory talk given at the Peruvian Red Cross Branch Lima to promote awareness of the Movement.

Introduction Red Cross (ICR)

Defining the humanitarian agenda
The various components of the Movement meet regularly to discuss issues
common and share best practices. At the International Conference of Red Cross and Red Crescent, which meets every four years, the Movement's components are in talks with representatives of States Parties to the Geneva Conventions. The Conference is the highest deliberative body and offers the opportunity to discuss priorities and interrelated challenges.
The Standing Committee is the trustee of the Conference and provides strategic guidance to the Movement
the time between conferences. It also promotes coordination
the Movement, supports the implementation of resolutions of the Conference and reviews issues within the Movement as a whole.
addition to the International Conference every two years there have been two important meetings: the General Assembly of the International Federation with the participation of delegates from member National Societies and the Council of Delegates, which brings together representatives from Societies
National Federation and the ICRC.
The General Assembly determines the general policy governing
Federation and the Council of Delegates adopted resolutions relating to the work delMovimiento and advocacy.

Movement Emblems
Currently, the Movement Red Cross and Red Crescent uses three emblems: the red cross, red crescent and red crystal. National Societies should use one of these emblems to be recognized as members of the Movement.
The Red Cross and Red Crescent have been used for decades as a universally recognized symbols of assistance to victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters.
In December 2005, at the Diplomatic Conference in Geneva, states adopted the Third Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions (Protocol III). That allowed
adopt the red crystal as an additional emblem of protection so that those Societies that wish to use the emblems Red Cross and Red Crescent to be recognized as members of the Movement.
At the international level, the three emblems enjoy equal status and offer the same protection under international humanitarian law.

Nothing is here, no better or worse, only their eyes change color , an hour of the day was tinged with an amber violet. Periods Metallic Taste

Close your eyes so you don't feel them, they don't need to see you cry . I can't promise I will heal you but if you want to I will try . Sing this summer serenade, The past is done we've been betrayed It's true. Some might say the truth will out, I believe without a doubt in you . You were there for summer dreaming, and you gave me what I need. And I hope you find your freedom for eternity, for eternity!

Yesterday when we were walking, you talked about your ma and dad; what they did that made you happy , what they did that made you sad. We sat and watched the sun go down, then picked a star before we lost the moon . Youth is wasted on the young before you know it's come and gone too soon. You were there for summer dreaming, and you gave me what I need . And I hope you find your freedom for eternity, for eternity! (Eternity)

In addition, professional services offered to the Supreme Government of the day and appointed a commission to to develop a proposed organization of ambulances should act on the battlefield.

The commission presented its report and then the dean of the faculty raised the project to the supreme government: there was already talk of the Geneva Conference and the Red Cross. The project will emphasize the advantage of freeing the fact he had the civic organizations of the military were to pool their efforts, because their aim is the same: help and assistance of sick and wounded soldiers in the armies of campaign.
The April 17, 1879 the Supreme Government approves the project and appointing the Central Board composed as Red Cross President Monsignor José Antonio Roca and Bologna, as Vice-Chairman Dr. Manuel Odriozola ; and as secretary to Dr. José Casimiro Ulloa , among other officials, signs the sr. President of the Republic Gen. Mariano Ignacio Prado and the Minister of Education, Worship and Charities Dr. Manuel Paz Soldan.
From May 7 the government dictates the provision on the name of the Board central, it would be "Central Board of Civil Ambulance Red Cross in Peru." Was set up four "civilian ambulance of the Red Cross in Peru, the first, which left the port of Callao on May 3, 1879, was made by Carlos Sotomayor (later appointed secretary of the Company), a head , a secretary, an assistant, a chaplain, two doctors, four medical students and 26 men, besides the appropriate emergency medical supplies to the hard work that awaited them in the firing line of the southern campaign. Among the characters that support this mission of the Civil Ambulance Red Cross are French citizens and recalled Emile Henriod Daniel Alcides Carrión , while still a student. Civil Ambulance Red Cross helped the wounded without distinction on both sides as was his mission, unfortunately, the recent disregard of the Geneva Convention did not allow America to save more lives, but leaves a lesson of heroism and humane slaughter.
The April 30, 1880 the Swiss Federal Council decrees that, before the exchange of ratifications, Peru is embodied in the Convention and enters the Red Cross Movement. In the circular number 45 of the Committee established international date May 8, 1880, certifying that the Peruvian Red Cross, is the first to emerge in America and in this document gives his date of birth: April 17, 1879.

Come ... Let me tell you, listen to me. Sometimes I feel lonely . Think I said "you will see that no, I will matter." Everything changed for me, I feel the past come back to me and it's too late . Not want to go back and yet it is a flash calling me, I tend your network.
Come, I invite you to disappear for a while in the world. Time out of them. I do not think you get what will come, I do not get at least before what it takes to get you. So
work once, entangled in your hair and not leave there until dying of fear, oh! to die of love hide me. So cowardly that I feel would react. Serious able to forgive me if I said I would? Not that I lost the excitement but enough for me.
Come, I invite you to disappear for a while in the world. Downtime of the two. I do not think get what is coming , I do not get at least earlier than takes for you to get you.
My spirit the desert, like me. My eyes were so open , projecting. I knew you were coming but just could not immunize time. Is this what we want to hear or perhaps loathe. To win your fantasy I will not change or days, not months . (Come, 2002)
