RED CROSS RED CROSS MISSION

The mission of the International Red Cross is:

• prevent and alleviate all the circumstances, human suffering protect
• life and health and ensure respect for the human person, in particular in times of armed conflict and other emergencies;
• try to prevent disease and promote health and social welfare;
• encourage voluntary and availability of members of the Movement and a universal sense of solidarity with all those in need of protection and assistance

In fulfilling this mission, the Movement shall be guided by its Fundamental Principles : humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
Movement organs are

• the International Conference of Red Cross and Red Crescent ;
• the Council of Delegates of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent
• the Standing Committee Red Cross and Red Crescent .
